In Brandenburg, the position of honour is at the far left as seen when facing the building. That is always where the federal flag flies, with the Land flag to the right. In the Sorbian settlement area, the Sorbian flag may also be flown alongside the federal and Land flags.

On Europe Day and Labour Day and on Europe-related occasions, the European flag is to be flown next to the federal and Land flags, if possible, in the position of honour.
